Facelift is the first album of the US rock band Alice in Chains, which was released on August 21, 1990 on Columbia Records. The titles "We Die Young", "Man in the Box", "Sea of Sorrow" and "Bleed the Freak" were released as singles. "Man In The Box" was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1992 for the best hard rock performance with vocals.

Facelift was the first album of the Grunge movement to be awarded gold on September 11, 1991. The album peaked at number 42 on the Billboard 200 charts and reached platinum status after selling 2 million copies.
